The founding goal of PlanetComix.com is that of making possible, promote and support the birth and the web publication of new artistic and literary works, particularly the comic strips.

PlanetComix.com aims at becoming the biggest on line comics’ database freely available; a virtual album continuously dawned where everybody can participate with his own creations.

PlanetComix.com intends to be a point of gathering for the draftsmen, who are looking for a story to turn in a comic, and the scriptwriters that are searching someone able to draw their works.

Everyone can send his work to PlanetComix.com, it can be a simple sketch, a comic strip, a short story, a cartoon, a script useful for further future ideas.. If the content of the work fits the criteria of publication (go to the internal rules) it will be immediately made available on line.

The published works are freely consultable by the site visitors and by all the other members of the PlanetCommunity; visitors and members can also communicate together and with the authors of the PlanetWorks; they can even simply post any commentary on the pleasantness they perceive by watching works or they can give their own impression and advices about all the artistic creations met inside PlanetComix.com, to improve them.

Here we state our passion for the World of Comics, which we express in a free and self-determined way through the file-sharing and the publication of intellectual creations.

Creating a network of contacts we appoint an intrinsic interest, the one of the divulgation and the development of artistic works as expressions of human creativity. The Creativity is a mean of culture that springs from the imaginative use of human capabilities to give the world a new contribute, with a real and acknowledged worth.

The creators of the site PlanetComix.com are concerned of the fact that money earning can’t be the pre-eminent reason to build up an activity; they measure instead a service from its social valence. They are committed to develop a project widely and reciprocally approved as valid, effective and significant, with a rule similar to the one of the Academy, the place of the free development of ideas and searches, founded on the participate sharing of the personal capabilities and efforts.
